Who wants to sip on warm refreshments in a Hot Tub? No one! That's why the hot tub designers at Hyvän Kaupan Paikka have come up with the idea to design integrated countertops with drink holders in the Arctic Hot Tub. The counter serves not only as a waiting lounge for draft beers, ciders, lemonades and cocktails, but you can also place mood candles and lanterns on the platform. The platform also works excellently as children bathe in the tub, as swimming goggles and swimming toys can be placed on the platform during a break in diving sessions. The level's versatility is a matter of imagination, i.e. the level is really versatile. For example, you can place earrings or a smart watch in the holes intended for drinks, if you are not sure about its water resistance. Even though you don't have to monitor the passage of time when bathing, it's convenient to peek at the clock from your phone on the level. Eight depressions intended for drinks are enough for even a larger group of bathers.
Innovative design – squared oval shape
We decided to combine two beautiful forms together and gave birth to a square-oval shape for the Arctic Hot Tub. Design language speaks the language of both practicality and beauty. The shape enables the existence of counters and brings more style to the traditional round shape of hot tubs. Arctic Hot Tub is perfectly suited to Finnish poise and straightforwardness. The Finnish "swamp, hoe, and Jussi" ideology has, however, been softened, because in a hot tub, no one needs to stress. Even though the name of the tub is arctic, we recommend warming up the water before enjoying a good soak.
Easy-to-use, versatile Step In-step
You wouldn't think that one plastic step can be made into much, but it is. We have designed the Step In ladder, which makes it easier to get into the tub, just to fit the Arctic Hot Tub. The step naturally makes it easier to get up from the seat, but it also serves as a seat for a smaller child, when otherwise the head would sink under the surface of the bath. In use, we have found that the step also works as a perfect armrest, meaning that the step turns the Arctic Hot Tub into a convenient underwater armchair. The Step In solution makes the Arctic Hot Tub a hot tub for all ages and makes it easier for people with reduced mobility to bathe. Limbs strained in the arctic conditions of the Finnish winter are easier to lower into the gently warm water thanks to Arctic's Step In-step.
What color should it be?
Hyvän Kauppan Paikka's relaxed approach can also be seen in the range of tubs. From us you can get hot tubs for all kinds of needs and tastes. You can get the Arctic Hot Tub customized just to your taste. You can choose the color of the plastic pool yourself from five different options and consider the placement of the Step In stairs in relation to the heater. And that's not all. You can also choose the material of the pool's outer lining from three different options, and choose the color of the cover between black or gray. The pool's color selection got its inspiration from nature, as it offers, for example, sea blue or lichen gray. All tones are compatible and work perfectly together.
Arctic conditions – effective insulation
In order for the Arctic Hot Tub to live up to its arctic name, we wrap the pool with proper insulation! Underneath the plastic tub is 44 cm thick EPS insulation, which keeps the frost away and the bath water hot even in colder winter weather. We also wrap a lot of thermoplastic on the sides of the pool, so that the edges would be insulated as well. This highly efficient hot tub retains heat so effectively that a well-covered Arctic Hot Tub is still warm the next day. For the chilliest cold-sensitive ones, it's recommended to burn a full bundle for the next day's water play, and the hot tub, ready for a bath the following day, is instantly prepared. Put wood in the fireplace, change of towels, and ready your drinks and you’re ready to take a bath.
Comfortable warmth in a second
The marine aluminum stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's hot tub package are manufactured in Finland. The high-power, 35kW stove is not afraid of seawater, as it can handle both fresh and seawater. Carefully thought-out details in the materials make the fireplace a blazing hot top product. Marine aluminum conducts heat excellently, the stove's front panel has a grate and the glass door allows you to check the fire situation without opening the door. The fireplace package includes two meters of chimney pipe and a rain hat, but if you want more pipe, a chimney grill or a spark guard, take a look at the accessories list.
Remember that it is not recommended to use chlorine with marine aluminum, as chlorine oxidizes the marine aluminum. We recommend changing the water often enough and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories).Active oxygen oxidizes the water for about a day, after which the water can also be used for watering, as it does not contain any added chemicals and is also safer for children. Oxygen-free water easily starts to form a slimy surface along the edges of the bathtub, but active oxygen prevents this process.
Carefree plastic pool
Unique in its design and precisely designed in terms of seating comfort, the tub part of the Arctic Hot Tub is made of molded polyethylene plastic from Jaxal. This plastic works similar to memory foam, i.e. it wants to keep the shape it has been cast into. The easy-to-maintain and worry-free plastic tub lasts a long time perfectly, and that's why we dare to give it a ten-year warranty.
Since there are no mold ridges in the plastic pool, dirt cannot accumulate in any special spots. However, remember to keep the pool surfaces clean when changing the water. It is easy to do with regular cleaning agents. The most careful users can sometimes clean the pool more properly, i.e. disinfect their pool, but remember to take care of the proper disposal of waste water.
